Why design under the name Brain Butter Creative?
My name is Ryan Dvorak and having a last name like "Dvorak" is sometimes difficult for some to remember, much less spell it correctly. So the challenge I had was that www.RyanDVORAK.com didn't really roll off the tongue that well as a domain name, and surprisingly was already taken by a politician. After a lot of brainstorming and a few pots of coffee later I came up with the name "Brain Butter" to simplify things. I developed and created the Brain Butter name in order to represent my work in a unique and creative way that would be easy for one to remember, over the past few years I added "Creative" to the end of Brain Butter as a descriptive word to let people know what I do.

Who is Brain Butter?
My passion for design began in the late ’90s, experimenting with Photoshop and Illustrator on early Macintosh systems—sparking a lifelong career in digital design and visual communication. Today, I bring experience as a Digital Designer, Graphic Designer, Art Director, and Creative Director, delivering clean, intentional work across web, branding, and digital experiences. Guided by a “less is more” philosophy, I specialize in minimalist, modern design that prioritizes clarity, usability, and visual impact.
Some of the services I offer
To give you a better idea of what I can do a designer, here is a list of some of the stuff I work on daily. I do my best to offer competitive rates and to work within my client's branding and design budget so don’t be shy to give me a shout about your next project!
What is Brain Butter?
I guess you could say that the term "Brain Butter" is the final result in my design process from conception to completion. After churning so many ideas in a brainstorming session they always begin to take shape, the best ideas are the ones that turn out smooth and creamy like butter and that’s when I put two and two together and came up with the term Brain Butter, then added the word Creative to the end as a descriptor and it’s been downhill from there.
Each project I work on is quite different, I tailor my process to work in a way that suits the project's needs, generally an average project takes around a week to a month to complete, but bigger projects can take up to 6 months to a year to complete. It all starts with the results you want and the goals we set so you can launch your brand's potential and get you back to the stuff you really care about and that’s running your business.
One of the main benefits is the time you will save due to the experience I have in design, whether it is building a new website for you, creating a new logo & branding or just updating an old business card you have, no job is too small.
